Water analysis

IVL is an expert on water pollution and acidification problems. With knowledge from long measurement series since the 1980s, we can analyse the effects and impacts from forest management, the impact of air pollution on water systems, industrial emissions to recipient areas and wastewater.

The analyses and tests are done in our analysis laboratory and tailored to your needs. Many of our measurement and analysis methods are accredited by Swedac External link, opens in new window. according to SS-EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018. For other methods, we work based on corresponding quality routines.

We help you with:

  • Mapping of discharges and spread of water pollution in forest areas
  • Nutrition and acidification status in forest areas
  • Analysis of effects and impacts from forest management, impact of air pollutants on water systems, industrial discharges to recipient areas and wastewater
  • Determination of inorganic basic chemistry, elemental analysis, low levels of mercury, PAH, PCB, PFAS, drug residues, pesticides, flame retardants, and plasticizers in plastic materials.
