Test beds, pilot plants and demonstrators

It is important to have access to facilities where you can test and evaluate new technical solutions. Therefore, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute has built and operates facilities for it, often together with various partners.

This is where we advance the knowledge by testing whether the theories hold the measure in reality.

Some of our test beds, demonstrators and pilot facilities are Sjöstadsverket Water Innovation Centre, Storsudret, Stengården's treatment plant, Gröna Solberga and Kristineberg center for marine research and innovation.
