IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute offers advanced dispersion and deposition calculations to support permit applications and action planning. Air pollution from industrial activities, traffic, and wood burning can significantly affect human health and the environment. Using advanced models, IVL conducts dispersion calculations to illustrate how emissions are transported through the air, undergo chemical transformations, and are deposited on land and in water. We also analyze how urban planning, infrastructure projects, and greenery influence air quality and evaluate the effectiveness of different mitigation strategies.
