IVL's experts are working on environmental assessments of the current and future textile industry and establishing circular solutions and more resource-efficient consumption. There is a vast potential to scale up the sorting and recycling of textiles in Europe. This is shown by the research project Sustainable clothing futures's survey of around 30 actors in the sorting and recycling of post-consumer textiles.
