Mistra SafeChem researchers keynote speakers at large conference on SSbD

The Safe and Sustainable by Design, SSbD24 Conference, has an impressive list of invited speakers. Mistra SafeChem is proud to have researchers represented therein.

The SSbD24 Conference in Switzerland aims to bring together experts from various relevant fields and sectors who have started to work on specific methods, tools and criteria to enable the actual use of SSbD. Experts from industry and value chains using chemicals and materials will present their first-hand experience in applying the SSbD framework in case studies, and regulators will express their views on operationalising the concept and related policy needs.

– The conference can be expected to be a vibrant meeting arena, bringing together experts from various relevant fields and sectors who have started to work on specific methods, tools and criteria to enable the actual use of SSbD, says Hanna Holmquist, one of the Mistra SafeChem researchers who is keynote speaker at the conference.

– The call for papers is now open and we encourage experts from both industry and academia to take part.

The SSbD24 Conference will be held November 10-15, 2024, in Monte Verità in Switzerland.
