IVL in Jordan – WASH WANA

The operations of IVL WASH WANA (West Asia and North Africa) are conducted from Amman, Jordan.

IVL WASH Governance works actively in the region, focussing on building bridges between WASH governance and water resources management, in order to improve the availability and protection of water resources, as well as to strengthen the long-term resilience and sustainability of water and sanitation services.

The WASH Governance group conducts studies on water scarcity and climate change, regulations, water and sanitation safety plans, and water service delivery models. It also offers capacity-building of specific tools, and advice based on best-practice examples from other parts of the world. A help-desk can provide assistance with the review of policies, strategies and project proposals.

The activities in the region are supported by experts from IVL's offices in Europe and Amman.
