BASTA
BASTA is a subsidiary of IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and offers a digital, open system for sustainability information on construction and civil engineering products. The BASTA system provides you with the tools to make informed product choices.
Our users
The system is aimed at anyone who wants access to sustainability information about construction and civil engineering products. This includes property owners, contractors, architects, builders’ merchants, structural engineers, and private individuals, among others.
The BASTA database is open for anyone to search, either directly via our website or through an API. The database contains open product information with over 200,000 registered items, as well as company pages with aggregated product information. In addition to the database, BASTA provides an open and free API and a logbook service.
