24 - 28 August
World Water Week 2025: Water for Climate Action
IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute will participate in this year’s World Water Week in Stockholm, contributing knowledge and perspectives in three sessions aligned with the 2025 theme track: “Strategic water and climate actions within planetary boundaries.” Together with international partners, we will explore the role of water resources in a world facing population growth, circular water systems, emerging pollutants, and biodiversity challenges.
In addition to the sessions, IVL will host a booth featuring short presentations and a mingle reception. We are also organizing a study visit to SWIC, the Sjöstadsverket Water Innovation Centre and a “lunch and learn” at IVL’s headquarters for participants of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize.
Please note that only the Sunday session is free of charge and open to the public. We warmly welcome you to join us throughout the week to take part in the conversations shaping the future of water governance and climate adaptation.
