Registering a product in eBVD
Are you a material supplier who wants to learn more about how environmental information is declared in Sweden? You are warmly welcome to an introduction to the eBVD system. We will go through the background of the system, its links to laws and regulations, and how you can use the API to retrieve data.
An Electronic Building Product Declaration, eBVD, is an industry standard for reporting environmental information about construction products and materials. It is presented as an open, digital format designed to create traceability throughout the value chain. Through a digital service, the eBVD system provides a tool that enables you, as a manufacturer of construction products and materials, to easily register and manage your digital environmental information. All published eBVDs are openly searchable and accessible to anyone interested.
Using an API means that digital environmental data can be shared in an open and transparent way. In eBVD, all published data is available digitally: all fields included in the PDF that can be openly downloaded can also be retrieved directly in digital form.
