Assessing Chemical Sustainability in an SSbD Context: Recent Developments in ProScale

How can chemical sustainability be assessed within a Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) context? Mistra SafeChem invites you to a breakfast seminar focusing on recent developments in ProScale and its relevance for sustainability practice.

Mistra SafeChem hosts a seminar exploring how hazard and exposure information can be integrated into life cycle assessment (LCA) and related sustainability assessments.

ProScale supports the integration of hazard and exposure data into LCA, thereby strengthening the chemical dimension of sustainability analysis. During the seminar, recent methodological developments will be presented and discussed in relation to their practical application and relevance in an SSbD context.

The session brings together perspectives from research and industry.

Speakers

Tomas Rydberg, Senior Researcher, IVL, will present the ProScale methodology and its recent developments.
Peter Saling, Director Sustainability Methods, BASF, will provide an industry perspective on ProScale and its application in sustainability work.

The session will be moderated by Patrik Andersson, Program Director, Mistra SafeChem.

The seminar is relevant for professionals working with LCA, sustainability assessment, SSbD, and related areas.
