Abstract submission

Submit your abstracts via e-mail to tapase@ivl.se no later than 24 February 2023 for one page abstract, and no later than 15 August 2023 for extended abstract.

Please download and use this template Word, 29.9 kB. for the preparation of your abstract. Instructions for formatting are included. The length of the abstract is strictly limited to ONE (1) page using the font and formatting indicated in the template.

The abstracts will be reviewed by the TAP&SE 2023 Scientific Committee. Abstracts which do not fulfil the standards will be rejected. Please avoid submitting abstracts containing only future results. Authors of extended abstracts will be notified by the organizers whether their contributions have been selected as an oral presentation or as a poster presentation by 31 March.

Extended abstract/full-paper

Authors to abstracts being accepted will be notified by 31 March and invited to submit an extended abstract. Abstracts should be submitted in word format. Please download and use this template Word, 3.8 MB. for the preparation of your extended abstract. Embed all figures, tables etc. in the Word file. Please note that the recommended maximum number of pages for the papers/extended abstracts is six (6) pages.

The deadline for paper submission is 15 August 2023 (OBS, new date!). The conference website will open for registration on 18 April, and early bird registration is until 15 July 2023.

When submitting the extended abstracts, authors who do not want to have their extended abstracts published in the conference proceedings should clearly declare that. All other extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.

Updated information:

If you consider submitting your contribution to the TAP&SE 2023 conference to one of these scientific journals for peer review, you will not be obliged to submit an extended abstract to the conference. Being aware of the strict rules concerning originality of material published in scientific journals the same procedure applies if you are preparing submission of your contribution to another scientific journal. The short abstract and reference to the special issue will be placed in the proceedings. You have possibility to revise your short abstract until the new deadline for submission of the extended abstracts. In case you are planning submission to a scientific journal, please, provide which of the special issues / name of the journal and tentative submission date using the form TAPASE_SI-publication-form.docx Word, 326.2 kB.and e-amil it to tapase@ivl.se.

Special issues for the conference

You have possibility to submit your contribution – if you’re interested – to special issues for the conference themes Transport Air Pollution and Shipping Marine Pollution, respectively, to these two open-access scientific journals:

The deadlines for submission of paper to the special issue in Atmosphere will be sent in coming weeks. Subsidy for publication fees for Atmosphere are under negotiation.
