IVL expands within the automotive and transport sector
IVL is growing and has now, in an initiative targeting the automotive and transport sector, recruited a further 25 members of staff to the Gothenburg office. The expansion is intended to reinforce IVL’s operational breadth with regards to chemical safety, the circular economy, the development of environmental technologies and long-term strategic sustainability focus.
– This initiative is very positive for IVL. It bolsters our growth strategies and will also reinforce our industrial mission and applied research commitments, says Tord Svedberg, CEO at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute. The new recruits mostly have roots in the automotive industry and are well versed in the areas of chemical risk assessment, health and safety in the workplace, sustainable production, emission and exposure assessment, life cycle analysis, eco-design, environmental management and mobility. – They are project managers and specialists with wide experience in the transport sector. This initiative will enhance our collaborative efforts towards industry that target sustainable engineering and manufacturing, says Elin Eriksson at IVL.
