Welcome to the Russia-Sweden Youth Sustainability Academy
IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and the Swedish Institute are arranging a sustainability academy for Russian and Swedish youth in August. Now we are looking for people who want to learn more about sustainable solutions and technology and are inspired by discussing and collaborating with others.
The academy is part of the work to strengthen the contact between Sweden and Russia and will focus on circular solutions for a sustainable future. Topics covered are waste management, water management, renewable energy and life cycle analysis. Swedish and Russian young people get the chance to get to know each other, collaborate, meet experts and other young people who are interested in sustainability issues.
In the first stage, the academy will be held digitally on August 23-24 for the Russian youth. Then they get an introduction about Sweden and waste management. On 25-28 August, Swedish young people are also welcomed to the academy. The groups will then work together to solve various sustainability problems.
As a participant in the academy, you will receive:
- Increased understanding of sustainable development, environmental technology and environmental management in Sweden.
- Develop new ideas for sustainable and smart cities.
- Interact and expand your network with experts as well as with Russian and Swedish youth.
- Get a certificate from IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute for your participation after implementation.
